During my studies in Politecnico of Milano, I started my experience in my father's company.
The Casati srl is a company specialised in cold deforming of metals; In this period the Casati srl had to face many different challenges related to the changes of business focus from the households appliances customers to the automotive ones.
I had the opportunity to get in touch with the whole organization departments thanks to the privileged position and all the challenges to be faced.
In 2016 I entered the tecnical office as a tecnical designer; this helped me to start my professional journey working under a strict and precise direction of a main department of Casati srl.
My job consisted in designing the customers' products and the relative mould for the production; I needed precision, efficiency, specifical softwares skills and sometimes communication abilities with the customers.
In 2017 our quality manager left the company while it was going through the preparation of the Tuv sud audit for the transition from ISO TS 16949 to IATF 16949.
Replacing this open position I had the need of get in touch with all the departments, at first collecting data but then, the more I got confident with the company structures I started to deeply modify the processes with which those data came out.
I got used with administrative and analisis software to get the data and study their trends. I also started to finally understand how a company really works getting in touch with many different people in many different working positions trying to putting all together in a working quality management system.
On February, 22 2018 we had the audit and I'm proud to say that everythings went great, with few minor non conformity on which I worked in the later weeks.
After getting in charge as a quality manager I effectively became the quality manager and started my work with the customers and the productive department, collaborating with the first and re-shaping the second one.
Because of my organisations skills I've been also got involved in a lot of improvement tasks and special projects, overseeing many different people: for example we're now setting up a Manufacturing Execution System to control all the productive processes and obtain better, easier and more trustfull production data.
